Welcome to the Club

Tewkesbury & District Rifle and Pistol Club is a friendly group of firearms enthusiasts and we welcome members based in the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire area.

We shoot in our own range, located between Tewkesbury and Winchcombe in Gloucestershire.  The range is licenced for Black Powder weapons, Pistol Calibre Carbines, Small bore rifle both sporting and target, and can also be used for air weapons, CO2 Weapons and Airsoft.  Full bore shooting takes place on MOD ranges or at other clubs by arrangement.

The Tewkesbury & District Rifle and Pistol Club was established in the mid 1970s and constructed its own indoor MOD approved range in 1992 due to members' efforts and grants.  The range was officially opened in August 1995.  We are a private not-for-profit sports club.

The present membership includes men and women of all ages. We come from all walks of life, often the only thing we have in common is the friendship engendered by shooting together. We enjoy shooting a wide variety of firearms and do so competitively wherever possible. We welcome enquiries from new members – there is no waiting list. The minimum age requirement is 14.

Competitions take the form of friendly Club Competitions in all disciplines. Whatever your level and experience, there is a competition available if you wish to participate. 

The club has experienced shooters who will provide any tuition required, and there is plenty of opportunity for new members to try out firearms before making any purchasing decisions.  Club firearms and ammunition are available for use by probationers.
